2025年5月17.18日パレットくもじ前と那覇市若狭.旭ケ丘公園で行われた、若狭ちむどんどん太鼓の演舞です。

若狭ちむどんどん太鼓は、沖縄の伝統芸能「エイサー」をとおして地域の子供たちの健全育成につとめています。
1998年に結成され平成23年度からは「若狭公民館の地域こども教室」として活動をしています。 現在、若狭小学校、天妃小学校、那覇中学校の子供たち28名が所属し、若狭一丁目自治会の会長でもある岸本麗子先生が代表者として子供たちの指導にあたっています。
日頃の練習の成果を地域の祭りや自治会の敬老会などで皆さんにお披露目していることもあって、地域住民のスター的存在にもなっています。 また、県外の子供たちとの交流会や毎年夏に開催される「一万人エイサー踊り隊（国際通りで開催）」などにも参加しています。

This is a performance of Wakasa Chimu Dondon Taiko held in front of Palette Kumoji and at Wakasa Asahi-ga-oka Park in Naha City on May 17th and 18th, 2025. 🥁

Wakasa Chimu Dondon Taiko is committed to the healthy development of local children through Okinawa’s traditional art form, “Eisa”.
It was formed in 1998 and has been operating as the “Wakasa Community Center’s Local Children’s Classroom” since 2011.
Currently, 28 children from Wakasa Elementary School, Tenpi Elementary School, and Naha Junior High School belong to the group, and Reiko Kishimoto, who is also the chairman of the Wakasa 1-chome Neighborhood Association, is in charge of instructing the children as the representative.
The results of their daily practice are shown to everyone at local festivals and the neighborhood association’s Respect for the Aged Days event, and they have become a star presence among local residents. We also participate in exchange events with children from outside the prefecture, and the “10,000 Eisa Dancers” event held every summer (held on Kokusai Street).
If you have children who want to try dancing Eisa, please start with a trial lesson… Come to Wakasa Community Center on a practice day (^^)
